@desdelirium , after trudging through the snow for a short while, masaru appears to stop in his steps. he turns to face yukiharu, curled hands with reddened knuckles freeing themselves from the warmth of his coat’s pockets as his arms extend out. not a word is said when he allows himself to fall backwards into the snow, and the only sound that could be heard is that of the snow being shuffled around as he movies him arms and legs inwards and outwards to make a snow angel.
' I’ve always wanted to do this. poet would often stop me, saying I’d make a mess of myself, but he’s not around to tell me off at the moment, so. ’ he continues his motions, small smile of content on his face. ‘ anyway, you’ve probably done this countless times before, but I don’t really care — join me. ’ / :")
The cold was something yukiharu was not a stranger to , though seeing masaru's hands and face all red as a result of the bitterness of the cold managed to only concern him when the man falls into the snow on his back , but to rid masaru of something so simple .... it wouldn't feel right . But even so , they were definitely heading inside as quickly as they could as soon as they were done .
" as long as he's not around , who cares how we have fun ? It's always better to live life to its fullest , even if it gets a little messy , isn't it ? "
Masaru was right , though . He remembers when he used to play around in the snow as a child , being able to see the warmth of his breath and hear the crunch of the snow beneath his feet .... it was his favorite thing as a child . Theres a small sigh that escapes him before he shrugs , there was no use in trying to delay this further , so he happily lets himself fall onto his back ; relishing in the feeling of such a bitter cold against his skin as he slowly begins to move his arms and legs in order to create the shape of an angel .
" we should do this more often , masaru ... though perhaps when you have gloves on to prevent any frostbite ." There's a small , unseen smile on yukiharu's face .
