cutesyfangs answered: If it is a thing, it must be awesome!
I know! I have been looking at pulling a little more influence from Yama Kei (mountain). If it isn't a thing, I think I would enjoy making it so!
bunny-kei answered: If it isn’t, it should be! Warm colours, flowy and cool but sheltering you from the sun. Getting ideas. :P
Definitely what I was thinking. Definitely loose garments to allow air to flow around your body and keep you cool. Could definitely still layer but it woudl have to be with the correct materials and all. I still prefer to be pale but moving to the southwest would certainly mean getting at least a little sun. Ha. Feel free to send/share any ideas or inspiration you have, I am trying to compile things for a coord this summer on my next visit out there...
doomaday answered: I wish it was! My favourite kind of elv-race are desert elves because I imagine their style in a mori way…
I will need to look them up!! Sounds lovely. (: Images coming to mind are relative to the desert elves in the old Elf Quest comics. lovely.
I don't think it's an "official thing " but it sounds wonderful, a sort of post-apocalyptic twist on the style, reminiscent of traditional garments worn in desert climates, and post appocalyptic wear, with influences of the bright colours of mirages dotted through the outfit - especially water themes to highlight the lack of water. Windswept hair, and minimal or no makeup. I love it, if you try it out please post pictures :)
Oh my gosh that is PERFECT. I was thinking some dusty old cowpoke boots, too, and wide-brimmed hats. I think I will DEFINITELY coordinate something along these lines, if possible, for my next visit out west to my home. I am looking at moving there in the future, and forest fashion is fun here in my current climate but too many layers of knits out there would be just too much for me to handle. Thank you, thank you!!!!
