Delighted to announce that I've been accepted into Comic Arts Brooklyn @comicartsbklyn this year and will be in New York this Saturday!! I'm bringing prints and originals such as this one, and debuting a new solo zine and collaboration with Frédéric Fleury @fredericfleury printed with Risograph by my friends at @colourcodeprint, as well as two new anthologies I've curated!! Super honored to be included in the new Coney Island themed issue of Smoke Signal published by @desertislandcomics! My piece was inspired by the Dreamland fire that destroyed much of the park in 1911, specifically an account of the animals escaping, and Black Prince the lion on fire before being shot (and finally axed...) by police 😢🔥🦁👮‍♂️🎡🎠 I also included a short poem in very small print if you can read it 👀🔍 A lot of amazing talent in this, very cool to be featured along side so many great artists!
