An Odd kind Of Satyr?

I don't know if anyone else can relate, so I am just tossing it out onto the only platform I know that can maybe have some answers for me or at least someone who feels similarly.

For a long time now, I've sort of identified as a sort of satyr; this body is human, but I know I was meant to have long curling horns, yellow goat eyes and strong goat legs that ended in hooves. Fun and music and debauchery abound and I have this uncanny knack for animals.

Thing is, I don't seem to be as drawn to the forest or greek origins. I feel more at home in the desert, among the cacti and shrubs. Scaling the tall mountains and peaks in order to find just the right place to sun bathe and eat the fresh grass and sweet prickly pears. Taking shade among the thin trees and drinking from the oasis.

I vaguly remember a few others, but only a few in my meditations.

I dont know. Are there any others out there like me?

He swirls around you, red dirt taking the form of a man. He reaches out to stroke your face, and your cheek burns from the abrasive sand. He moves to kiss you, and you graciously accept, not bothering to pull away when he fills your lungs with himself.

could i get some positivity for desertkin? It's really cold and snowy here and I've been getting cabin fever from having to stay inside. I haven't had the chance to go to the specific desert i'm kin with in a while, either. It's been driving me up the wall and i'm pretty down because of it

I’m sorry. Having to stay inside sucks, especially when you’re stuck in an uncomfortable climate. I wish I had some better advice other than “stay warm,” but I hope you can get out of the snowy weather soon and get back to your desert home. I bet it’s lovely there.
