More Indian Magical Girls!
This girl is from the same group as my previous indian magical girl Pushpa. I imagine her as the leader/older sister of the group. Pushpa definitely looks up to her a lot.
Name suggestions are welcome, currently going for a flower theme!
WHERE ARE MY PEOPLE!?!?
Sometimes I forget that no one knows about my Desi Lesbian OCs because I never post them, make art of them or even write short head canons for fun.
Like I can't talk about it with my friends (because I'm an introvert) I can't talk about it with my sister like other things (because she doesn't like romance at all) and I can't even post anything because my fanart is kinda old, I'm scared about my writing being criticized and lowkey people love BL way more than GL.
So they're just sitting in my head marinating and slowly decaying the more I do nothing with them.
Writing/Art block sucks man
would any of you guys be interested in an oc x oc f1 fic????? 🧍🏽♀️. it's supposed to be a desi f1 driver x desi pop star fic. maybe the fem oc could be the older sister of arvid lindblad.
the face claims could be ahaan and aneet. not super sure about the fem oc being desi but you see, i've published desi reader fics and they barely get any engagement compared to other ones because the desi community is small.
so that's why i was thinking of maybe making both of them ocs because if engagement is going to be small, then fuck it and make it oc instead. because that makes it easier to find photos. lmk pls 😃😃.
- vivah (2006)
The movie when it was first released it became everyone's favourite at first. Par, later ye ek meme trend ban gaya. Everyone trolled this movie so much that at some point it was actually irritating. They trolled the movie for the main female lead role "poonam" a soft spoken girl, Because of her character in this movie. From my perspective i have seen many girls like these from small city or village pehle bahot the mene dekhe bhi hai some of you have seen too. I don't understand why people troll the movie? It's a good one it has so many meanings behind it. I have watched it many times i usually do to figure out the meanings and points of the movie. And i did the same to vivah after watching it for 15th time. I realised it has many points. I will lay out all the points one by one.
1. Colour shaming
Poonam grew up in a household facing criticism, indifference and not being seen by her aunt. Who constantly fears that poonam might overshadow her daughter and she will never get any proposals? That's what she thought because she wanted best for her daughter. It wasn't completely her fault for doing this, she's a mother ofcourse a mother would always want best for her child but the only mistake she did was to hurt Poonam constantly to protect her own daughter.
2. selflessness
Poonam was known for her selfless soft spoken behaviour in this movie. Where she always put her cousin "chhoti" first before her. She only focused on making them all happy so they won't feel like they're raising someone else's daughter. She always made sure everyone was satisfied and happy. Especially her aunt she wanted that motherly love from her but never got it.
3. A real love
Their love story was simple yet a real one just by watching the movie you will feel like you're experiencing it yourself and even crave for the kind of love they had. It had understanding, those stolen glances and eye contact no vulgarity just pure intimacy of just staying by their side always. It had a lots of patience, he understood and respected her boundaries and made sure he never crossed it. A single promise to marry her even after everything that happened because he truly loved her for who she was not how she looked it was forever tied like a knot that kept the ties of their relationship together tightly and unmoving.
4. Responsibility and realisation
He knew he loved her and wanted to keep her by his side forever that's why he threw himself in works immediately to focus on making a future for them. A realisation after truly loving someone and wanting to give them a better future, wanting to do something for them to keep them glowing and happy always. That's what love is about. Just like his brother's marriage like it was successful as theirs.
feel free to give your opinions on this. Thank you!

Summary:
Donnie’s ready to hit Eastman High with a bang. Saving NYC with his brothers was cool, sure—but it’s time the world saw what one purple-masked genius can do. Step one: become valedictorian. Step two: definitely don’t let that smug kid with the curly hair and irritating smirk get in the way. Keshav’s the worst. Meanwhile, Kasey’s determined to escape his sister’s shadow in his sophomore year. Top GPA, new mutant friends, clean slate. Easy. Or it would be, if it wasn’t for that irritating turtle guy in his math class constantly trying to egg him on and ruin his life. He doesn’t even call him the right name. Donatello’s the worst. Then Halloween hits. A rogue wave of Foot Clan Bots forces Kasey to throw on a mask, grab a cricket bat, and become the vigilante Striker. Suddenly, he’s juggling school, sports, secret missions, and suspiciously friendly chats with Donnie—who seems way more into Striker than Keshav. Two teens. One school. One city full of crime. One flimsy mask between them. And chaos, lots of it.

an AU months into the making! i'm so, so excited to finally share it with everyone!
this storyline has everything: identity shenanigans, slowburns, enemies to lovers trope, chaotic friendships, an overarching action plotline, amazing sibling duos, desi culture appreciation, and so much more!
(very, very heavily inspired by Miraculous LB, in that Donnie hates Kasey in school, but has a huge thing for Kasey in his Striker form, and poor Kasey is just confused)
