I started going to the gym last year and while I've found that I surprisingly like cardio I do wish it was a bit more ✨cutsey✨ I wanted to make myself some cute gym shirts to help bring some pink to the gym so drew this up. Will print it on a shirt eventually.

I've been watching a lot of magical girl and shojou anime recently and was like wow, I really want to draw a cutsey Indian magical girl main character. I wanted to combine a half sari with a more traditional poofy magical girl dress. I used a lot of flower motifs and gave her a trident to hint at how her powers come from Parvati and Durga. I'm bad at coming up with names but my mum suggested Pushpa and I loved it!

Again, I was really trying to combine mythology, South Indian culture and magical girl/shoujo tropes. Let me know what you think fellow south Indians and magical girl lovers 🫡 low-key wanna develop the designs of the other two girls.

Let's start this year off...with a YANG!!!

The RWBY soundtrack makes up a large part of my Spotify playlist so I was quite shook when the OSTs disappeared from the platform. Luckily they've been re-uploaded but having those songs missing made me listen to some of the tracks from the older seasons on YouTube which made me really nostalgic for S1-S3 when I used to watch clips of RWBY and it's music on YouTube on repeat. I'm so so touched by the amount of love people have shown on my post of Kerala Miku - I'm going to make a little Onam doodle of Kerala Miku as a bit of thanks! Seeing everyone enjoying my South Indian art so much made me want to post the art I've had for AGES of my OCs for a Hinduism inspired South Indian fantasy setting. So if that sounds like your jam - have look below!

Here is my (currently unnamed OC) "Gaada Girl." She's a warrior in training who likes to hit things with her mace first and ask questions later. She may not be very booksmart, but she's as strong as an ox and just as stubborn. No matter what, she will always protect those who cannot protect themselves.

I may be bad at "the social medias" as the kids say and not know how to reply to tags, so instead I drew more Madoka art as a little thanks and also because I still have brainrot (and also this is an excuse to maybe make some matching acrylic charms for my fave pink purse).

Let's gooooo more Tintin art. Basically I wanted to redo this poster and make it better and more stylish. Wanna try and do more Tintin art but currently in my girly pop media obsession. Maybe when the game comes out I might scurry back into my Tintin rabbit hole heheh.
