Listen, I don’t know if we’re going to win this thing (actually I know for certain that we are not) but I do know that if there were a contest for best fucking logo, we’d win that in a runaway (pardon the term) because the amazing and talented and generous-with-her-time @casaofjules2 is a freaking graphic design WIZARD and look what she made for us!
In other news, we were finally paired with the other six-pack this week. I met the captain by phone (she’s in California) and we are now ready to finish our planning and hit the starting line, three weeks and 40 minutes from now. We’ll be in Van 1 (runners 1-6) and her crew is in Van 2 (runners 7-12). More about the other half of the team later---she had a harrowing story to tell of how they got here.
