After receiving a recent ask about bridal Barbies, I thought I'd do another wedding dress Barbie post. There's been so many bridal Barbies over the years that I'm at no risk of running out of them.
I mentioned Romantic Rose Bride Barbie in a previous post, but what I did not mention was that she was part of the Porcelain Wedding Flower Collection, alongside two other bridal flower themed Barbies.
Star Lily Bride Barbie and Blushing Orchid Bride Barbie. I tend to think of lilies as being more of a somber flower than a romantic one, but clearly the designer of this Barbie did not feel the same.
I think I would have to say that Blushing Orchid is my favourite, though.
I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something about her that charms me. I find her quite elegant.
Another standout bridal collectible is the Monique Lhuillier Bride Barbie, released as part of the Designer Brides collection (alongside other bridal designers that I have previously talked about, such as Reem Acra and Badgley Mischka).
There were actually two variants on this one, one with a sable sash and the other with blue. I think I like the sable better, but that's just a personal preference.
