I always wondered why penguins are black even though their habitat is all white snow. Apparently it’s because their feathers are evolved to help them camouflage while under water and not on land!!

There is a group of lions in Botswana where the females have a genetic mutation that allows them to grow full manes and exhibit male like behavior. • A good reminder to never make assumptions on anyone regardless of appearance, gender identity or even species!! 🦁🧡
