I WAS SO INTRUIGED but then I hit a problem. Like do I put Mello in Near’s body, and vice versa? OR are they themselves, but in a different universe where Mells was picked as the new L? I went with the second option! Mells as the new L would be a lot more preppy and proper. Tailored shirts and expensive jewellery. He would try to be as calm and collected, emulating the original L as much as he could - but in his own way. Being professional as fuck.
Near on the other hand would wear the same oversized shirt and a pair of stolen boots. He’d be just as cold, even colder probably, than in the original series. He’d be ruthless and never show emotion except sometimes a small small smile.
