Skeletons in the closet | CH2 Motive | Open

His skin paled ever so slightly at the idea of his secrets getting out. He operated on very private knowledge. He had clients that had very private information that good get out. The information he did allow to get out was very specific. He needed to control the input and output of information about him. The Yoshisaki family was under the public spotlight 24/7 and thus any flaw would be blown up. Just about anything could warp the public’s view and ruin the reputation of his family’s name. That was something that he could not let happen.

Of course, his focus then turned to his watch as he heard a beep. He could work well on other’s secrets. He could manipulate his information and it was just as easy to manipulate other’s info. But a frown appeared on his face as he was a bit disappointed. Sea blue eyes rolled in response as he turned the watch off for now and glanced around. His main focus was finding out who had his info and what their aim was then.

With a bitter look on his face ( though it was the norm by now ), he had left the crowded and chaotic court room and decided to head away from the group. On his way out, he paused at the red head. He glanced momentarily back at the group before speaking up.

“Your thoughts on the process?” he inquired. He knew how he felt. He felt frustrated. He had a headache from being locked in a small room with a bunch of foolish children. As an afterthought, he added, “Or overall?” Perhaps he was the only one annoyed with the trial.

He didn’t even seem to wince at the execution once again. His face was scrunched up instead in a sign of disgust, irritation, and most importantly disappointment. He shouldn’t have got his hopes up honestly. The court room was his sacred grounds. The place where the spot line turned to him and him alone. It was where he worked his magic and words bowed before him. This was not a traditional court room. It wasn’t even a mock court. They threw in nearly 30 students and called for action. No guidance, no order; just plain chaos and disarray. These imbecile, birdbrained, senseless joke of super high school students were mere chickens with their heads cut off in a sacred area of order, law, and justice ( not that he cared for the last so much ). 

It wasn’t long that he dropped his interest in the thing all together. He would return perhaps at the next ( oh he had no doubt there would be another, this game was only starting ). Then he would come prepared and expecting. Right now, he glanced over at the students, picking up their reactions. He judged them silently, weighing their worth before turning on his heel. 

The frog of course only emphasized his reaction. “The game has only started. They put too much work into it to end with one. So don’t start getting soft once again.” Those were his departing words. They were annoying and tiresome. He wanted nothing more to do with these students than he had to. He glanced at his watch once more and left.
