The remark caused a slight bit of curiosity to spark in Fenvir. Yet he would never admit it. He was a bit too stubborn and headstrong to an extent for that.

“Oh? Not for me?” He said, disinterest in his tone. “If not for me, then for who do you have wisdom for?” He glanced at Felassan, raising a challenging brow. The challenge was if he did not admit someone, that would mean he had no wisdom, yet if he did admit it, Fenvir could possibly discern it if he wished to.

Emris was trying to feel the water out. He’d found Merrill cute when they had first met through Hawke but he’d found something about her personality appealing. And found himself starting to take an interest in her, wanting to make sure she was safe in the alienage, and going out of his way to ensure that.

Her answer brought some relief to him and her question caused him to stumble a bit as he leaned against the wall.

“Me? No, no, I don’t.” He hadn’t for a bit. And he wondered why she had asked. Could she...? No, he was reading into it a bit too much.

“So, neither of us does...We ought to, dunno...” He rubbed the back of his neck. There weren’t too many nice options in Kirkwall, especially for an elf like her. “Do things together.”

At this rate, Rajmahel might have to ban Josephine from playing Wicked Grace. He’d just walked into the Herald’s Rest after a long day, only to find another poor soul had fallen victim to the Antivan’s guile. And Rajmahel had almost run right into him.

“Well, hello,” he said with a slightly amused grin. “I see you’ve met our resident Wicked Grace champion.” He did his best to respect the other elf’s privacy, not letting his eyes wander. He held out his hand.

“I’m Rajmahel, by the way. You must be new, otherwise you would have known better.” It was a light, friendly tease, no note of malice in his voice.
