Esther Meets The Baby (Drew/Katie/Esther)

Drew sat at the edge of the bed, watching Katie hold Sophia. She was only a day old yet seemed like she had gained weight since the moment that she had arrived into the world. Drew smiled at Katie and their daughter. Everything was going perfect and he honestly couldn't complain about a single aspect of his life. After exchanging some Tumblr messages with Esther, Drew's ex-girlfriend, he asked Katie if Esther could come visit them in the hospital and see Sophia. Katie agreed and Drew wasted no time in inviting Esther over to the hospital to see his baby daughter. "So how are you feeling?" Drew asked Katie as he glance up at the clock and awaited Esther's arrival. He looked down at his baby and gently nudged her tiny nose with his finger, "Daddy's little girl, yes you are." Drew whispered quietly, looking into the eyes of his sleepy daughter.

We Meet Again (Drew/Esther)

When Drew found out that Esther was back in town, he felt his heart skip a beat. He was all smiles at the news that his ex-girlfriend, someone very special to him, was back in Toronto. Drew thought about her every day, wondering how she had been, where she was and the like. However, as they continued to exchange messages, it became apparent to him that she was out of the loop regarding something big. Drew wasn't sure how she would take the news of Katie's pregnancy though he hoped that she wouldn't hate him for it. Esther meant more to Drew than most and the thought of hurting her again, it was too much to think about. He quickly took a shower, making sure to spray just the right amount of cologne while getting dressed.

"I'm going to see Esther" Drew called out to Fiona as he grabbed the keys and headed out the door. Once he was in his car, he drove over to the address that Esther had given him via a text message. Drew was wearing a bright smile as he drove down the road, wanting nothing more than to bring Esther into a big hug. Her leaving had hurt him, it was completely out of the blue. Now, Drew had a chance to make amends with her and possibly start anew. The last thing he wanted was for the girl he had falling hard for to hate him. Once Drew was at the address, he honked his horn and got out of the car. He looked around a moment, eagerly awaiting Esther's appearance.
