This year @destielaureversebb collaboration have made me cry more than once, and I'm sure this is what is going to happen to you too and, with some luck, it will replace the actual show from your minds alltogether.

This is the art you are going to find inside, but the feelings are all from the incredible, amazing, otherworldly @friendofcarlotta whom I've had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside for a second time. I hope you enjoy it.

The Long Haul

Here’s my contribution to this year’s @destielaureversebb! It was so lovely getting to work with @tragidean, who is such an amazing author seriously I cannot recommend this story (and all of her others!!) enough!

Castiel won’t kill him—not with the razor, anyway. Maybe with what’s hiding just beneath the water’s edge, but not the razor.

“You think I need a trim?” Dean asks with a grin. He plants his knees on the silty bottom, putting his head at Castiel’s stomach level. Castiel takes him by the chin, tilting his face up; Dean’s breath catches. “Cas.”

And this was the piece that started it all!

“Please,” he says, so close to a prayer that something sparks in his chest, so foreign yet like it’s always been there. As the light wanes, Dean looks up to see Castiel’s face, his brow pinched and eyes determined, lips pulled into a scowl. For a moment, Dear swears he sees the glimmer of a halo over his head, the broad, expansive shape of something translucent looming behind his back.
