When I presented my two pieces for the @destielaureversebb I only had a vague idea about what I wanted. In my mind I only had "Something with pirates. Dean as a pirate and Cas as the son of a wealthy family" and then @friendofcarlotta came, claimed my work and turned it into something out of this world.

The first two pieces are the ones I presented for claiming. The rest is just the result of having the pleasure of seeing her doing literally magic with words.

This story has quickly become one of my comfort fics and I think that now, more than ever, we need some adventure and rebellion.

A big thank you to the mods for creating this event and everyone participating in it for making my first time in a reverse bang a truly memorable experience.

Given how you do your art, do you have an idea and go looking for photos that will work with it? Or do you see a photo that sparks an idea? What's your process like?

Most of the time I have no idea of what I want to do, only general vibes of what I want to accomplish visually speaking and I tend to use the same stock I've had for years. That's why I don't post that often amd I can't really give any advice a about it. Unless it's for an event, in that case I work with something in mind from the beginning and I go looking for stuff that fits.
