PLOT:  Years ago, Dean had to retire from the Behavioural Analysis Unit of the FBI and is now filled with self loathing.

When the criminal that caused him to retire resurfaces, the Unit Chief, Jody Mills, finally agrees to having Dean back in the office. 

At the BAU, he will meet his old acquaintance Castiel that, to Dean's surprise, is also working as a consultant for the FBI.

There's also something that the chief, Jody, promises to reveal regarding Dean's father and his past.Something that Dean has left behind, but that Sam has never given up on.Dean will, once again, be forced to deal with the consenquences of John Winchester's actions,but this time it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Good Things Do Happen

 A Winchester Family Christmas, 2010. AKA, Best zombie Christmas ever!

Balls up the walls, people.  This is spectacular.  Author came up with the most fantabulous plot device to perpetuate this brilliant story.  Everyone, I mean everyone, is perfectly written and the dialogue is beautiful and the description is lyrical without being long winded and basically, this fic is utter perfection.  You gotta read it.  I know I say that very often, but for reals this time, READ IT.  I am so jazzed.  I think the SPN writers should just take this fic and film it for the series finale.

I Kneed You

Late one night after a hunt, Team Free Will returns to their two-bed motel room. But with three people and two beds, Dean and Castiel are forced to sleep together. What will happen when Castiel bumps into Dean and tells him 'I kneed you', without understanding how it could be misinterpreted? Takes place after the S8 finale. Rated T for mentions and foreshadowing of naughtiness.

Totally brilliant premise, I sort of wish that Author had dragged it out even more.  This was a funny, cute, short fic.  I could totally see a misunderstanding like this happening between really anyone and Castiel.  I loved Sam’s brief, unwitting part in the episode- he must have been pretty tired to have slept through what was implied.  There was a part near the end where I think Author probably intended a page break or a time lapse symbol or something of the sort.  That small distraction aside, it’s a cute fic with good characterization.  Worth a read!

An Awkward Conversation

He rubbed his hand over his mouth. "It's alright for you to date anyone and by anyone I mean anyone." Dean stared at Sam intensely. "You want to, I have no problems with that. Unless the chick is a demon, then I have problems. Seriously Sam, no demons." "That only happened twice," Sam muttered.

Classic setup- Sam thinks he has an excellent plan to force Dean and Cas into a much anticipated relationship.  Naturally, everything goes entirely wrong.  This was a cute fic.  Characterization was good, especially with Sam.  Dean’s internal monologue was hilarious and, I thought, probably pretty realistic.  I loved that Bobby was in it because, you know, BOBBY.  The ending was really sweet and casually hilarious.  The awkward conversation that the fic is named for (you get a glimpse of it Author’s blurb) is delightful to read.  Fic gets a thumbs up from Sophie.

In which Dean Winchester learns the importance of Disney movies, Castiel is the prettiest princess, and it's all Sam's fault. Fluff, First kiss, Sick!fic.

Whelp, there goes my heart.  It is gone.  Straight out the window.  Over the hills and far away.  This is adorable.  The writing was top notch and the characterization was excellent.  And the premise was the cutest thing I have ever read.  I have often made comparisons between Lilo and Dean, and this fic just sums all of the correlations up into one beautiful, adorable, heart-stealing delight.  READ IT.

Cherry Filling

Castiel discovers why Dean finds pie so appetizing. (Fluffy, first kiss, humorous, smutty)

This was a good one.  I may or may not also have a bit of a pie kink.  So, you know, this is just your regular run-of-the-mill pie tasting gone sexual encounter Supernatural fanfiction.  The writing is really good and there are some really funny moments- my personal favorites involve Sam and his relations to hell.  Also, best line in the fic: “I guess the pie sent me over the edge.” Nicely written smutty scene and, I would say, overall excellent characterization.

We Need to Talk about Cas

Sam's overtired from their latest hunt and he finally can't take Dean and Castiel staring at each other like they're having sex with their eyes anymore. He kinda, sorta accidentally says something that may or may not make Dean turn beet red and flustered and fidgety as all hell. Sam's amused. Dean's embarrassed. Cas is... well, he's Cas.

Yes.  Just yes.  So much yes.  This is phenomenal.  Also, author makes fewer grammatical errors tipsy than most people do completely sober, so kudos to her.  This is an excellent premise, and extremely well written.  The characterization is spot on, and the humor throughout is right up my alley.  Sleep-deprived-Sam is probably my very favorite Sam of the many Sams that I have read.  Dean’s embarrassment and reaction to his brother (and later Cas) are really well done- totally believable.  I also think it’s really neat that this is totally a Destiel fanfic, but written almost entirely in dialog between the brothers.  This is up there as one of my very favorite fics, folks.  Read the heck out of it.
