I don't know why I randomly thought of this when playing Mass Effect (Mass Effect:Andromeda if anyone wants to know which one.) But, I also play Warframe and used to play Destiny 1-2 a lot. So the point of this whole post now, imagine Tenno or Guardian's randomly being sent into the Mass Effect universe? Or like they get sucked into something. Warframe and Destiny have a lot of technology. I also am pretty sure in some Warframe missions you can go into different dimensions or something close to that? I can't remember fully. Anyway, imagine a Tenno (In their Warframe) meeting the Tempest crew, or the Normandy crew, how do you think they'd react? (Especially if it's before you get your Operator so it's just the Warframe. I main Nidus mostly so that would be an interesting reaction probably.)
But with Destiny it depends.
They find a Human and a floating object (Ghost). They'll probably be hesitant about Ghost because of previous AI events but hopefully get past that. But then the human uses these weird abilities that doesn't match anything the people in the Initiative/Citadel can use like Biotics for example. But they'll be useful for the fight against the Kett. However, the Kett might get a bit too interested in these new abilities, and since we know they can alter peoples DNA... Would they try too? And if they somehow did succeed in snatching us up then would Ghost be able to cancel out the process?
What if the Guardian wasn't a human and an Awoken instead? Probably nothing much will change from the human example, they'll probably just be a little cautious of meeting a new "Alien."
However, an Exo Guardian being sent into Mass Effect? That would cause problems because Exos are machines. Now even though a human consciousness is put into them the Initiative/Citadel don't know that and assume it's just a very advanced AI. For the Normandy and the Citadel, it'll probably be a firefight because of their experience with the Geth. In Andromeda with the Tempest crew, they'd probably talk first or at least be docile when the Exo doesn't attack them, so there is a higher chance for an Exo Guardian to not be shot onsight in Andromeda. Let's just hope the people from the "Firefighter" mission don't try anything. Probably not, but never know, they did go after SAM.
Anyways, just random thoughts and just wondered if anyone else had these ideas before.
Also, if anyone here does play Warframe who is your main and how do you think they'd react to yours?
My main as you probably read is, Nidus he's infested and let's be honest, realistically I'm guessing he doesn't smell that great, and he can summon infestation entities to fight with him. So if they'd seen Nidus in action before meeting him, they might be cautious. But hopefully warm up once they realize he's not completely hostile. They'd still probably be grossed out by his abilities and his appearance in general but after a while of being near and around him they'll probably get used to him... Maybe not the smell. Either way, another alien to fight against the Kett, and is actually effective? Count them in. Also, since Warframes are technically machines, the Kett wouldn't be able to alter us.
