spotify shuffle led me to the single version of destiny is calling (god forbid i actually use the unicorn academy instrumentals for studying album for studying) and it is?? so different from the version on youtube?? not necessarily in a bad way i still love having a group song that isn’t rhyming moon with moon But. you know

so either the spotify one is an extended version bc it’s almost 3 minutes long or the youtube one is an abridged version bc it’s just under 2 minutes which really just equates to more lyrics to overthink. rory voice now that’s a win

SPEAKING OF they replaced rory’s “aw val you said team now that’s a win” with “come on storm unleash the wind” which i guess makes sense if everyone’s talking to their unicorns in the first verse but also boy you know that sounds like a fart joke. quiet up and listen down

also rory is basically a featured artist on the spotify version he and sophia have this whole duet moment after the second chorus and while i will always stan kolton stewart i wonder if it’s bc he just has a really good voice or bc (god forbid) the next season is about sophia and rory’s friendship. and yes that’s a joke i’m grateful for having a next season in the first place but also it’s so disrespectful giving rory so many lines but zero space on the cover art 😭
