2 more Destiny commissions I did this year. It was interesting getting 2 clients with the same helmet and same bond, gave me a chance to try drawing them in different ways

Destiny lore question: can warlocks heal every living thing or only other lightbearers? Could they potentially heal civilians and say animals or are their healing abilities limited only to other lightbearers?

Destiny 2 - Warlock Headcanons

Bc why not

Warlocks, out of all the classes, have the biggest desire to spread their wings and fly among the clouds 

And I mean this both metaphorically and physically

They get the floaty jump for a reason

Yes, Warlocks can be bookworms, but they range from Asher’s “All Sciencey Theories” to the rabid book fans you were weirded out by at the school lunch tables

Speaking of books, you know that one friend who always knows Obscure Facts? Yeah, Warlocks specialize that.

Not to say that Hunters and Titans don’t have those peoples, but Warlocks take it to a whole new level

Wikipedia. Addicts.

Seriously, if Wikipedia didn’t survive in D1/2, the Warlocks would’ve likely brought it back

You remember Mythbusters? Guess who’s the living embodiment of “I reject your reality and substitute my own”

You know how Hunters are known for being trinket goblins? Warlocks are just as bad. But like, a little to the left.

While Hunters may keep trinkets because they were shiny or looked pretty, Warlocks will try to make moodboards or science experiments with the trinkets they find

If they are given a trinket by a Hunter or Titan, that trinket gets a special pedestal or is made into an accessory they can keep close to them

You know that thing some people do where they say an absolutely False Fact just to get on someone’s nerves (playfully or otherwise)? Yeah, all Warlocks do that

Warlocks will remember a throw away sentence from three years and two months ago about your favorite flower color but if you ask them what time of the day it is after like three (3) days into a mission, they won’t be able to tell you

Warlocks either have an excellent sense of direction or none at all

“Oh, go east you say? Well lemme just pull out my handy dandy Lewis and Clark compass!!”

“Who’s Lewis and Cla-”

“IRRELEVANT JUST TELL ME IF I SHOULD GO LEFT OR RIGHT YOU WALKING GOOGLE MAPS!!!!”

Overthinkers. Best way to take down a Warlock? Get them to overthink.

Warlocks are gifted with an uncanny way to express themselves

This can range from Shakesperean diction to inspirational Optimus Prime speeches to emphatic screaming. It just depends on their mood and the current situation.

Unfortunately, Warlocks can have a hard time admitting they are wrong. They’d much rather play it off as an unexpected result in an otherwise perfectly calculated situation

Please either call them out or comfort them, they’re just absolutely terrified of having a bad choice resulting in someone’s death or having their credibility as a person plummet because they were wrong one (1) time
