Do you think hunters take Hawthorne shooting out in the field where she might not get killed?

Hmm... maybe. It's tricky since (lore wise) Hunters haven't set foot in the Tower since Cayde's death in order to avoid the Vanguard Dare, at least until the Traveler's awakening.

But! Here's my theory: Titans certainly would. They probably rendezvous out past the wall with their Hunter friends with Hawthorne in tow. They would escort Hawthorne out and stand watch, ready to defend in case there's any sort of ambush. That way Hawthorne and the Hunters can spend some time together sharpshooting.

The titan sat in his designated room, slowly rocking back and forth in his bed. His grip on the blanket he covered himself with threatened to tear the soft fabric. WE MUST GO TO ENCELADUS. The echo of the voice in his head caused him to whimper, squeezing his head tighter as he rocked. He could feel the warmth of his pink lighting grow uncomfortable, as if it was burning his insides and melting his internal wiring. “N-No no, I don’t w̵a̶n̵t̴ ̸t̴o̷ ̸g̵o̵,̵ ̷I̷ ̷͈̤͗͂d̷͓͛ó̴̢n̷̞͐͑ͅ’̸̈́̽͜t̵̤̥̾ ̸̠͆̕n̵̺͍͐́ḙ̵̻͐ẹ̶̙͑d̷̠̈́̄ ̶̬͓́̄t̵͖͆o̵̭͈̾̋ ̷͓̔g̶̳̖̔̑o̴̧͉̾̊.” WE MUST GO TO ENCELADUS it boomed louder, he could swear the whole room was shaking, or perhaps it was his body. Despite not needing to breath he felt like he was suffocating. He felt things in his body he never knew he could feel. Internal fans whirred frantically trying to cool the scolding heat within, his internal core scorched his insides as it battled the invading voice in his mind. The burning inside his body was becoming unbearable, if he could cry he bet even his own tears would burn him. A static filled cry left him as he held his head tighter “P̴̯̜̖̱̈́̒̓L̴̡̬̦͔͓̣̈́͑̈̉͂͘Ê̸͍̻̥̜̋̎͜A̴͙̻̔̂Ş̸̯͙͓̣͖̄̄̽̎E̴͓̊̓̚͝ ̷̘͉̬̫̩̐͐͜M̴̻̘̈́͋Ä̸̛͚̮Ḳ̶̯̯̖̜̇͐́̀̚È̶͓͋ ̸̼͓̖͗͋͝Ḯ̸̦́T̷͎̪̳̠̍͒̊ ̴̪̞̌S̶̛̻̩̀̋̓̏͠T̵̢̗̦͔̍O̴̧͕̥̜͙̭̓͂̀͊̑P̸̧̟͖̮̙͉̋̓!̸̤̍̓̎̎!̶̣͈̮̈́͐”, he wailed as the voice continued to scream at him. Demanded him to go to ‘ENCELADUS’. It made promises of the pain ending. That he would be safe. That all of this suffering would end. However as he squeezed his head tighter almost ready to give in, it had suddenly stopped. His eye lights slowly flickered to life as he peaked around the room, moving his hands shakily from his head to look at his eyes reflection. Pink. a slightly dulled, but still viable hue of pink. The lining of his throat grew soar and burned as the impact of his wails began to surface. Slowly he moved to hug his knees, his only source of comfort being the blanket that gently held him. These episodes had begun to get worse and worse as of late, the longer he was resisting the more pain the voice inflicted onto him. The most terrifying part to the exo was how he had begged for it to end. How everyday he was getting closer to giving in just to have his suffering end. He knew he had to keep fighting though, he couldn’t give in. His friends were helping try to find a solution. Surely Saint-14 was going to tell him they found it soon. He promised he would be okay. That he would keep fighting too. He just had to keep fighting. He didn’t want to hurt anyone, he wouldn’t hurt anyone. He just needed to keep fighting. It would all be over soon …Right?
