when will the next prompts be up?

Ah. I’m glad this topic was brought up. 

I’m sorry to announce this, but I’ll unfortunately have to be canceling the Destiny Challenge. I am only one person and I am not capable of handling the challenge all by myself. I would ask for help with moderating the challenge, but I’m stubborn and picky and I just can’t picture anyone administrating the challenge besides myself. And I’m just not up for it anymore. 

Of course, things would be different if there were more entries in the first week. I got lots of feedback and encouragement for it, but only 3 actual entries into the competition. I probably would have been more inspired to go through with the challenge had there been more participants — but there sadly weren’t. Of course, I don’t blame anyone; my followers nor the rest of the LOST fandom. The challenge would have been just as exciting to watch as it would be to participate, and that’s why I’m guessing people didn’t join in. 

Nonetheless, I simply can’t continue with the challenge for multiple reasons besides these. I feel like it’s causing me to stray away from the purpose of this blog — gifs of Lost, of course — and it’s honestly just a drag for me, probably since hardly anyone is participating. 

I will be distributing prizes to week one’s winner, however. That would be cruel not to follow up on that promise. 

If anyone would wish to pick up moderating TDC, feel free! If you think you can handle it. I might even participate (sending in an entry is much easier than administrating the whole thing). Change it around to your liking, bend the rules in your favor, whatever. Do what you want! I’d be glad to see the Destiny Challenge on Tumblr in hands other than mine. 

But, regarding you question — obviously, there will be no prompts this week.
