If you’re an online gamer that’s played Destiny, you probably know about
DestinyLFG.com. It was an independent site created back when Bungie announced that Destiny raids wouldn’t have matchmaking. The site quickly grew so large that it became recognized by Bungie itself. Now, after expanding to new games such The Division, GTA, and Call of Duty, Beerock Studios are ready to bring everyone together under one roof by launching FTW.in. But let’s be honest, a website is a website right? That’s why they are taking it a step farther and producing an all-inclusive FTW App, but they need your help! Now, before I link the Kickstarter and lose your attention, take a minute and look at SOME of the features they plan on offering with this FREE (I know, it’s my favorite word, too) app.
The biggest problem with LFG sites is never knowing who you’re going to be playing with. There’s a quick description of their light level or their DPS but that’s about it. Well, FTW is looking to change that. Within this app, users will not only have the Looking For Group tools they’ve grown accustomed to but it will also feature a Reputation system, an in-app Chat so you can connect before sending out that invite, Profiles that will allow you to connect your gaming consoles, an Event Scheduler, and it will even have Twitch Strem intergration! Now, these aren’t all of the features, just some of the core features you can expect when this app launches (expected July 2016)
Oh, and the other best part? It’ll be available for both iOS and Android upon release.
Now, if you want to learn more about this app you can find more in depth information at Http://Kck.st/22tEXIL or, you can check out the piece Engadget did on the project. www.engadget.com/2016/03/23/destinylfg-matchmaking-ftw-app-kickstarter/
Donations start as low as $1 but even if you can’t donate, it would be greatly appreciated if you could Reblog this and spread the word. As Gamers, we’re part of a community and it’s up to us to shape the world of gaming. And this app is definitely saying something.
