A dip in paradise

This sketch was made for Sardinia, the mediterranean island where I was born, where I grow up and where I live. My island, my home. Right now it is on fire and many animals, woods, even millenial trees, where destroyed by fire. Sardinia is a famous island for the beautiful sea and beaches: a perfect place for summer holidays. But every summer the island is destroyed by fire and this year more than ever. I'm in such a grief for the people who lost their establishments, for the burnt animals and for the burnt trees that I don't feel in heaven anymore. And all the beautiful sea it's not enough to turn off this pain.
