I watched S21E53 Mothers and Daughters at midnight because that's what one does of course. It was probably the third time I've watched it.

Why had I not realized that Guinevere Elinor is named for Elinor Gwendoline? I knew the Elinor part but with Gwen/Guin? And why had I not realized that the roses that Serena brings to the grave are from Jason (who mind you almost died that day as well)?

And while we're at it... Serena tells Cam that there are some people who deserve to die? Just after he's tried, unsuccessfully, to confess to killing Owen?

I personally don't believe in God, but if you do or believe in anything else, go ahead..

There's just a question I've always contemplated. If God created us, gave us life and gave us this earth, why would he just let us destroy it?? Let us destroy ourselves??

At first I thought, "If there truly was a God, he has abandod us.. That's why the world isn't a better place"

But I've come up with a new reason.. I'd do the exact same..

If I had all the power in the, well, anything, and I could create planets, lives, I'd also destroy it. I'd cause havoc in the world I created, cause humans love destruction, if we don't think it hurts anything significant..

And I wouldn't think anything I made out of pure fun, would be significant.. I'd just make more with the snap of my fingers.. I'm sure many other people like me would do the same and destroy the very world we build, cuz we could always rebuild it if we wanted to..

Just like Lego.. We build it, we decide the different destinies of our characters and most of the time, we destroy something..

After all, the Bible did say that God created us in his picture, so who's to say he aren't doing the same exact thing??
