I was looking forward to this day every since @pca_centex gave me the opportunity to be apart back in June! Wow...what a great time it was today hanging out with the 450+ athletes at Travis High School! Truly felt these authentic young people and the energy they brought! The boys looked good and can’t wait until that first game of the season! The coaching staff were pleased with the teams’ effort and now back to the lab to perfect their craft! Had a great time with the Pueblo Magnet High School football team discussing what does it mean to be a @positivecoachus Triple Impact Competitor! Coach Brandon Sanders is not only turning the football program around, but the entire athletic program towards postive change. Appreciate @puebloathletics and @pca_arizona for allowing me to come out and spend some time with these guys! We tackled some great challenges that these young men shared like “life” and shared how they can support each other by sacrificing themselves and making their teammates better...while carrying themselves with integrity and dignity. The Rock, Papers, Scissors vids displays just that. Even when things aren’t going right for you, you still can make a difference by supporting those who need it as well! Our young people have enough worries in their minds and on their plates. Parents, coaches and supporters…let’s provide them the tools to achieve excellence now and in the future. Had a great brain storming session with the William B. Travis High School football coaches today! “Elevating the Bar” today with our Character and Development Program at @WBTAthletics! This school has had a negative stigma base on the low their community and history of troubled youth. We tackled some great concerns and began to plan on changing the culture at Travis High. It is an honor and privilege to work along side my @postivecoachus family in working with these great football and volleyball coaches this season!
