The reason why Emonga's name was changed to Emolga was because "mong" is an offensive term towards those with Down's Syndrome.

I love centipedes yes; but this, no no no no. If they did not call it a centipede I might like it more.

This is my favorite pokemon this generation.

Pretty much my favorite pokemon along side Farfetch'd actually. It takes a lot to get to Farfetch'd level of love for me. Dogipede is no where near there.
