Sitting across from Walker in his office, you wish it was the first time you were here. But Ransom's been on another streak of trouble.
"Your boyfriend's built up quite the rap sheet this time around," August comments, flipping through the folder in front of him. "Gonna cost quite a lot to get him out of here on bail. If it's even granted."
"What's the damage?" you sigh. August says a number that's more than double your annual salary and your eyes widen. "You've gotta be kidding me!"
"Well, if you can't afford it, I might have an alternative form of payment."
"You mean like a payment plan?"
"Something else."
Understanding hits you and your eyes widen. "I can't! It'd be cheating on Ransom!"
"A man who clearly doesn't appreciate you."
"I...I can't..."
"Then he'll stay in prison."
"And...and if I do this, it'll clear the fines? Just like that?"
"Just like that," August purrs.
"Tell me what to do," you sigh, body burning with shame.
August smiles in victory. "Bend over my desk, raise your skirt, and take my cock like a good girl."
You say nothing, frozen in place. August figures you're in shock but when his office door busts open seconds later, he realizes the truth.
"Agent Fowler, Internal Affairs," Nick announces as he enters the office. "Detective Walker, you're under arrest."
In truth, you'd broken up with Ransom after his last bout of trouble with the police. You wanted nothing more to do with him. But Agent Fowler asked for your help with an investigation. He'd seen the way the Detective eyed you up. A chance to put a bad cop in prison and getting to tell Ransom to fuck off again? How could you resist?
