do i have 2 big wips i should work on? yes. did i see this picture on pinterest and immediately start drawing it instead of my wips? yes. is this a good way of being productive? probably not. did i giggle out loud once i finished fish’s face? like a fucking 6 year old.

Fish detective! A little character my friend made and i wanted to draw him because this is such peak character design??

Abe Vigoda made his first TV appearance in 1949, but didn’t break through till two decades later, when he was in his '50s. But boy, did he break through — first in 1972, as the ill-fated Corleone confidante Sal Tessio in The Godfather, and then, more iconically, in 1974 as Detective Phil Fish in ABC's classic cop comedy Barney Miller. 

He died Tuesday at the age of 94.
