“Ahhh I’m so excited to go to the gym with Jackie. I hope nothing terrible happens.” Jackie was going to pick her up in a couple minutes, so Radi was almost ready to go. “I just need my keys...” She extends her arm towards the keys when...

They start to float in midair.

“W-WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!” She reaches up for them when she herself starts floating in the air. “AH! How did I??”

“J-Just calm down Dia....don’t panic.” With that instant she’s suddenly on the ground again, keys in hand. Just when things were about to get better the door bell rings.

Shit, Jackie... Radi tries to move to get the door but she can’t seem to budge. It was like her whole body was 10x heavier. Gravity’s going all bonkers on me, what the hell is going on?

Alan wasn't new to being picked on by his classmates, but this did not mean that he has yet learned to handle it properly. No, not a child as volatile as he. As such, it was to be expected that he'd react quite viscerally to the insults directed his way. These much larger children had dared ridicule Alan's hearing aid and he would not stand for it. They continued to snicker and mock him. Those asswads were in for it.

"You think it's so funny?" Alan said, "Well see how funny it is when it BRUISES YOUR FACE!" 

Alan yanked the hearing aid off his head and threw it at one of the kids. It hit him right between his brows. Alan mentally cheered for a second. With that aim, he could be David. Oh yeah, he was going places.

Just one problem. This wasn't the Bible, and perhaps, in that moment, divine providence was not on his side. 

The hearing aid bounced off the kid's head and fell to the ground. Oh, that did it. The only one in for it here was poor little Alan. The kid whom he had nailed grabbed him and signaled his friend. They began punching and kicking him.

Alan tried to fight back, but it was no use. They were too big. And there were two of them.
