More importantly, my daughter wishes to share that she got this very flattering series of pictures of herself, her dad and me checking in at the hotel :D

Absolute blast at the Dethklok show last weekend! Once again, to those of you who said "Hi", I loved that you did and wish we could have had a whole week to catch up! And I miss you all, already =( </3 (But I don't miss arm-flailing-attack-Nathan) Hehe So, my phone is a complete pile of garbage, and with everything that went on before the show, I didn't manage to get a good charge on it and had to limit my time recording regardless of that. You CAN however, see a glimpse of the footage I got on this post right here!
The friend I was with had to have accommodations and I, as her medical liaison, got to tag along to a special section they reserved for folks who needed such a space, behind the sound and lighting crew. As an old lady who has put her days in the pit mostly behind her, I thought it was a great spot. We were at one point, unwittingly tasked with intervening in a fight (and then a few half-assed attempts at further fights) between a lady and her asshole boyfriend, but other than that, we had a great view of the show and the massive crowd -- plus my buddy was comfortable and could sit down as-needed!
The girl with the asshole boyfriend was also seen by security back there, who took notice to what dude was up to, and they were able to keep her safe for the duration of the show. Dethkomic hopes she's okay, in a better situation now, and has left that creep's ass.
I also hope beyond hope Dethklok, or Brendon and the bands he assembles keep touring in some fashion after Metalocalypse wraps. This was my second Dethklok concert and I'd absolutely be up for a third.
