BIOGRAPHY
Raised by his grandmother after the death of his parents at a young age, Noah was predicted to lead a simple, quiet life. Expected to help maintain the barriers around his town throughout the day, help his Coven whenever called upon, and then return to the family home to prepare the evening meal with his grandmother at night: the same thing day in and day out, an uncomplicated life. That is why it was such a shock when Noah announced that he would be joining the Sheriff’s department at 18, fresh out of high school. Noah had decided he wished to make a difference. Of course, maintaining the barriers was rewarding work, it permitted him to protect his fellow townsfolk from outside dangers, but what about the dangers coming from within?
PRESENT
Noah worked diligently as a Deputy for 3 years before his rose-coloured glasses began to slip. Soon he began to notice the underhanded dealings of the then appointed Sheriff, the way that he would make reports of crimes disappear for certain members of the higher class, or how “new evidence” would suddenly appear to move the blame onto an individual that was sniffing around where The Council didn’t want them. Noah shortly became disillusioned to the brave, selfless police force concept he had been sold. Admiration and respect turned to disgust and contempt. With his new understanding of how the world truly worked in his beloved town – secrets traded for secrets, money traded for freedom, and lies being used as currency. Noah felt sick; how had this been allowed to stand for so long? How had he not noticed sooner? Did his fellow deputies know? Did they allow this deceit?
Unable to continue to work for such a poor excuse for lawfulness, Noah was ready to slam down his resignation and alert the masses of their failure of a justice system. However, then he found old reports containing information pertaining to a string of cold cases that no one seemed to have even tried to solve. Curious as to why these particular murders had been left to gather dust, Noah began to dig. Through his investigation, Noah found out about The Rebellion and his sense of justice was ignited anew. Here were people really working to make a difference, rallying against The Council and their lies, making moves to pull the wool from over the town’s people’s eyes. The Rebellion were able to convince Noah that he would be able to do more good from right under The Council’s nose by continuing his work in the Sheriff’s department. By keeping his head down and ears up, Noah would be able to gather valuable information for The Rebellion’s cause.
Noah was able to easily juggle his new role with The Rebellion, going unnoticed and unbothered for another year, before a change in Sheriff made his tightrope act a little harder. Vivienne was unlike the Sheriff that had been appointed before her. She actually cared for the people she was there to protect, went out of her way to make sure they felt listened to, and stayed in the office hours after her shift had ended to try and bring justice to those in need. Now Noah is having difficulty with balancing his loyalty to The Rebellion and his respect for his new Sheriff.

Vivienne Collins: Boss/’friend’ – With his friendly personality, Noah was more than happy to help Vivienne out when she began working at the Sheriff’s station, and quickly recognised his hard-working nature mirrored in the new hire. Well, this is what he told everyone when they ask about his friendship with the closed-off Were. However, Noah knew who Vivienne was before she even joined the force and knew that she would be a treasure-trove of information for his work with the Rebellion if he was able to get her to trust him. Despite excelling in his plan, Noah has started to question his loyalties. Being Vivienne’s unofficial right-hand has awarded him invaluable intel, but it has also made him privy to parts of Vivienne that most have never seen. For almost 10 years, Noah has listened to Vivienne’s troubles, been her sounding board when she had to make difficult decisions or been her sympathetic drinking buddy when things became too much. Noah has realised that there is a lot more to the Sheriff than he initially thought and believes that she has what it takes to make Brookhaven into the place its citizens deserve.
