The Astrology of Fame: What Shared Traits Tie Together Today’s Top Actors ?
Since there are so many actors and so many different genres, I'm going to divide this post in two: the most common placements found across lots of birth charts I've studied and divided according to genre, for example, placements most likely to play in a horror film or a romantic hero in a romcom.
My Process
We are going to look at the 10th house (the house of career), the 2nd house (rules over wealth) and the 5th house, since it rules over pleasure and movies were first and mostly made with the intention of entertainment.
The planets are Mercury (rules over all forms of communication, which is essential to acting), the Moon (since it related to the ability an artist possesses to transmit emotions to the public) and Venus (governs all forms of pleasure and entertainment)
Guide
Every planet rules over the zodiac sign. I use the traditional system so:
sun = leo
venus = taurus, libra
mercury = gemini, virgo
mars = aries, scorpio
jupiter = sagittarius, pisces
saturn = Aquarius, Capricorn
Placements
Common Placements of Actors
Leo rising/mc (considering the sun governs fame and renown, being a Leo rising means you embody the energy of the sun)
2nd/10th/MC house's lord in the 5th house
5th house's lord in 10th house
planets, especially the sun, in 22º, 29º degrees (these are critical degrees and often are in the birth chart of people of great renowned)
connection between moon and mercury (ex: moon in virgo, that is ruled by mercury, and mercury in cancer)
north node in Leo (someone's disposition to fame or popularity)
2nd house in Leo or it's lord in Leo
chart ruler in Leo, 5th house or in 29º degrees
note: cinema is a moving industry with different styles and messages so it's hard to find a pattern.
Across Different Genres
The Romantic Hero
chart I've analysed: Emma Watson, Heath Ledger, Andrew Garfield, Dev Patel, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Grant, Ryan Gosling, Paul Rudd, Julia robberts
I've definitely noticed a mix of Pisces, Scorpio, Libra, Aries and Sagittarius.
pisces rising, moon or Venus or in pisces degrees (12º,24º) = (pisces rules over the fantasy of love, in the sense that sweeps you off your feet, the type of love that is dreamed. As so it does make sense the actors who portray these roles have these placements. It is worth mentioning that Venus is exalted in pisces)
chart ruler in libra or scorpio = (scorpio rules over intensity and intimacy,)
libra rising, moon, sun, venus or mercury or in those degrees (7º, 19º) = (libra governs over partnerships and marriages, since it is ruled by Venus, the planet of love.)

Scorpio sun, Moon, Venus, mercury (I've found this placement in so many birth charts weirdly, like Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Ryan Reynolds)
I also have noticed placements in virgo and Leo (especially Leo moon)
