Sooraj Barjatya started his career as a director with Maine Pyar Kiya and took the Rajshree Productions brand places. Under his able guidance, the film production company delivered many success stories on the big screen as well as the small screen.
Now, it’s time to pass the baton to the new generation. Yes, Sooraj Barjatya’s son Devansh is all set to turn director. We had mentioned earlier in Box Office India that Sooraj would be launching one of his assistants as a director and that the film will feature newcomers. Their next film will be directed by Devansh who is currently completing his script. We’re told that Devansh has written the script keeping Salman Khan in mind and once he’s done with it, the father-son duo plan to approach Khan.
When Sooraj made his debut as a director with Salman Khan in Maine Pyar Kiya, they delivered a blockbuster. With son Devansh also making his debut as a director with Khan, it looks like history is set to repeat itself. Watch this space!
