Andras is back after a few years of OC dormancy!
For those of you have been keeping up with me for the past few years, you may have some inclination of what I'm trying to do here. Andras's species, the Sentinels, are somewhere between the Philosophers, representative of order and study, and another deity of sorts who I've only introduced briefly who represents chaos and change (thus the four eyes that some of you might already recognize). Usually Sentinels exist on a different plane of reality: lumbering about mindlessly, while passively being deliverers of disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, etc. to promote change and advancement in the mortal world on a small to mid range scale. Andras, as well as three other Sentinels, were pulled from their wandering to protect the upper four Philosophers, who do not have the capability to defend themselves (unlike the three lower spirits who have a more solid link to the mortal plane), but their destruction would unbalance the forces of stability in the universe and bring about immense chaos. Andras is responsible for protecting Avinash, but because of events of the past (that I won't go into now) he is more aware than most Sentinels and has a very separate consciousness from his host Philosopher spirit. Because of this, he has great potential to escape into the mortal realm, and be a direct danger (both physically and mentally) to the much smaller species of beings living there. So he spends almost all of his time living inside the realm of Avinash's mind.
As you'd imagine, Andras would certainly get a little lonely wandering around in Avinash's mind with no company other than his spirit host (who unfortunately isn't exactly a riveting fellow after a few thousand years). Dipti, an OC @ruthlessamor and I created together, likes to wander into the mind realm and explore the fascinating space until Avinash catches her and forces her out. One day, she runs into Andras there, and of course the two become fast friends! I would imagine in this scene here, Dipti is pleading to her great uncle to stick around Andras, and it's hard to imagine he could say no to a sweet face like that!
