Yep, the Deveraines do! It’s Loren, actually. Their ranks are:
Ilsa = ACE
Greta = King
Loren = Queen
Edor(a) = Prince
Nathan = Princess
Callistair is a Mage and not Gheyo, but he works with Edor(a)
When Ilsa disappeared, Greta went to the Pits and Loren had to step up to King to keep a balance with Edor and Nathan. This is why Bahn tells him that he wants a clean transition back to his original rank—queen—without a fight and Loren listens, because he knows it’s what Bhindi would ask of him.
OK, so I had to actually dig out my first notebook for this, bc I haven’t used all of the elemental specifics in a while, 😅 but here we go:
Ergen = Earth
Portgas = Air
Alloras = Carriers/Pregnant dragels only
Styris = Storm, I think? Storm does not have an official Casper, however, they can appeal to Styris, who was a Storm Elemental when alive and can be granted a more elemental-friendly portal that way
Meeras = For Healers/Express Rush
Saurenth = Fire
Orus = Shadow
Hyenda = Nameless (easier than a gen port, and less crowded. Usually better for Nameless users, because it sidesteps the elemental factor built into the other Caspers/portals)
Yes—it’s basically portal summoning to “Temptrificus (temping time and space) and then safe travels by (request of elemental casper/specific physical need), and a final burst of magic to seal the intent with the energy and have it execute smoothly.
