                       Dark of heart she might have been, but her                                lips still twitched at the edges in something                                that might have been less than a smirk and                                more like a smile. It faded quickly, however—                                leaving no trace of what had been there.

                   ❝I assure you, Regina, you will be the first & only                              person that I go to if I require refuge from the                              overbearing population of idiots in this town.❞

                       A traitor the Queen might have been, but she                               had faced much worse than betrayals before;                               (even if nothing had quite stung like Regina’s)                               and her words were more of a truth than she                               had ever spoken in the woman’s presence.

       Nodding her head once to prove         that she had heard the words that        came to fall from Maleficent's lips,         the Queen kept her chocolate gaze        fixated at the blonde beside her.                If one was to pay close enough attention,        they may have been able to tell that the        glimmer was proving to hold some sort of        —— Longing. 

                           Having only one friend certainly had                             it's toll. Perhaps Regina was learning                            the importance of friendship now?                             It had certainly taken long enough. 

         ❝ At least come and join me for a glass           of decent wine. You need to go home           at least slightly satisfied with the evening. ❞

;- she's quickly rising to the top of my 'all time favourite characters' list right alongside regina and cersei. when i finish/catch up, i might give her a sideblog, just to test the waters like i'm doing with lady lannister but who knows. right now i'm just going to sit here and flail whilst questioning why i waited this long to watch the damned show.
