Devi holds up a packet of Oreos to see if they pass the check. Aneesa nods eagerly, and brightens even more when she also holds up two packets of Doritos.

"Obviously," she says, clearing them as well. Then she pats the space next to her on the bed.

Hauling all the snacks into her arms, Devi finally gets up off the floor and joins her. She exchanges a packet of Doritos for a mug of hot chocolate, satisfying them both.

"Okay, are you ready?" Devi asks, excitement already brimming in her voice.

Aneesa pokes a finger into Devi's knee. "If I hate this, I'm saying 'I told you so' then we're watching an episode of the vampire diaries instead."

"You're not going to hate it! Riverdale has got everything you could want — teen drama, romance, steamy make-out scenes, murder mystery!" She sets Aneesa with a knowing smirk when she finally starts to look intrigued. "And even some demon... witchy kinda stuff."

"Fine, you've got me."

Aneesa gestures for her to go ahead, and Devi delightedly obliges. She hits the space bar on her laptop and settles down to watch as the intro starts to play.

Not a single word of it registers with her though as Aneesa also settles down to watch it, fitting herself perfectly into Devi's side in the process. When Devi gives her a curious, slightly alarmed look, her eyes stay focused on the laptop as she sips her hot chocolate innocently.

Okay. This is fine. Devi can absolutely pay attention to all of her favourite scenes like this. Or she can at least make sure Aneesa's enjoying them, seeing as how she can't stop herself from glancing at her every so oftens. She busies herself with eating the oreos while she tries her hardest not to wonder how Aneesa will react to the kiss between Veronica and Betty.
