Heya. Happy Canada Day. Here are this month's Devil May Cry related updates: To sum it up we have: 1. League of Legends possibly getting DMC-like content, including a Dante-like character. 2. Ryota Suzuki (DMCV designer) working at SquareEnix. 3. DMCV Special Edition rumours and "leaks". 4. My thoughts on these updates.

Devil May Cry V’s Rumours Leading Up To Its Hype & Announcement (Dating Back To 2018 & Earlier)

I was cleaning out Deviantart group entries I've made from 2016 to 2018 due to how old the news updates are, and how quite a bit of the links shared in them don't exist nowadays. But it's interesting to see how far back Devil May Cry V has been rumoured for, and what hints came up leading to the hype and announcement of it.

I've missed some points from 2016 and 2017 like other rumours of it, and how CapCom made some mystery website that ended up being the official DMCV site in the end. But man...It's just interesting seeing this. And it's almost been 1 full year since its release already.

Another point I missed was dating back in 2016 or 2017 when he wanted to show off this project of his in those years as well, but kept putting them off.

The whole ‘no PS4 release’ was probably a misunderstanding, and it's talking about how the game is connected to Xbox a bit more since DMCV did more of a collab with Microsoft Xbox and its events.

And then it was the next month that we finally got our announcement of Devil May Cry V. And boy, what a wild ride that was 😁

I’ll be attending Hearths Warming Con this weekend, where I’ll be having a couple of panels with my good friend @amymethvenart and where I’ll be vending some of my artwork.
