The Red Devil's Chronicles: February & March 2026 Devil May Cry News Updates - Rumours, NFS2, Figures, Etc.

Hey, how goes it? I can assure you that these latest Devil May Cry news updates aren't April Fools jokes, so here they are:

A Devil May Cry voice actor interview from...August of last year?

2. An industry called Tanuki Figures creates a highly detailed DMC3 Dante figure. b) And another one called X-SOLO Studio makes one as well.

3. Studio Mir shows off their Devil May Cry 3 fan art to promote the upcoming release of Season 2.

b) Speaking of which, there’s a clip of Dante with his trademark pistols released. c) And a new teaser trailer. d) And they show off more promo images of Dante and Vergil.

4. Content creator BossLogic shows off what's possibly fan art they've created that dedicates Devil May Cry's 26th anniversary, and some DMC6 images:

This caused Nero's/Dante's voice actor Johnny Bosch to repost the images, and at one point while doing this changed his profile pic to DMC4 Nero on Instagram:

My Thoughts On These Updates:

I vaguely remember sharing an update about this last year regarding the VA interview, but don't think I shared the full thing. Just the announcement of it. Would've looked back at the older entries to see if I did but, ah...Here it is anyway in case I didn't.

2. I've said many times any time I see a cool new Devil May Cry figure...I have the money, but not the room to obtain them. If I was to get my own place, I'll need a whole room dedicated to all these cool figures I wanna get.

3. Now...I tend to be an open-minded, on-the-fence-type individual, and like to give things chances but...the Devil May Cry purist in me's surfacing more with the stuff they're showing off for this new season. Hate to be critical and pessimistic about this, but there are things wrong happening here already regarding the Nell scene, the Tony Redgrave alias thing, the copy-paste of a movie scene, the not-so-chronological DMCV quote Vergil makes (if you get what I mean), Vergil's accent change, etc. I'm still curious on how this season's gonna go and will still watch it but from what I'm witnessing and feeling about it, it ain't good so far.

4. An unrelated note but what's cool is that not long after Boss Logic's and Johnny Bosch's activities there, there's a Swedish band I like called Sabaton that released a new song called Yamato. The song has nothing to do with Devil May Cry, but I just found it as a cool coincidence 'cause of the name.

5. Rumours say that Ladies Night will most likely be one of the new features added in this version of DMCV. We'll have to see what they cook up once it releases on that console worldwide.

Why did i thought about having my audio drama in two languages?? It's just more work for me

But also i want people from my country to see my work and be like "BRAZIL MENTIONED" i want brazilians to see my project and see that this type of media is not just for english countries

So yeah, i will give myself extra work to make The Rain Doesn't Cease in portuguese and english, it will take time (i'm still a minor after all) but if this means to give even a little bit of pride to my country, i would do it without thinking twice

AU GANGLE INTRO!

Gangle.

Description : She is made out of frail ribbons and a mask. Ever since the regression, her body has become especially weaker. Her ribbons are the weakest out of the group. Her emotions are different though. Gangle can feel very strong emotions, even opposite ones at the same time. She can be manic or depressive. In a manic phase, she is often lashing out, even though she is euphoric. She considers everyone her friend except Jax. Her tears seem to run out faster than usual. Her first injury is the how the circus members found out about Caine's regression. She can be a pushover. She’s horrible with guns.

P.S. Caine cannot fix her comedy mask anymore.

Hellooo!

I wanted to introduce a project I started on today an hour before new years! Let me know if you're interested (I'll continue either way)

I reimagined the plot to 'twist' in a different way after Episode 7. I know TADC has its flaws, and I still love it, but I decided an AU would be fun. I'll be fixing some gripes I have about screentime and how it's used, and how the characters are developed overall. Prologue under the cut!!

The Amazing Digital Circus wasn’t in the best state. Caine had just tricked them all with an adventure faking an exit, and making them believe an NPC was a human who programmed the game, and knew a way to make them leave. Hell, Caine was planning this for so long he had that NPC eavesdrop them since Pomni’s arrival. To Caine’s surprise, his adventure didn’t bode well. Now they all sat on the sand, continuing the so-called beach adventure. All devastated in their own way. They didn’t even attempt to wonder what Caine would do next.

Kinger was buried in the sad, Pomni decided to faceplant her face in the cold, brittle, and lifeless shore. Contrary to the other two, Ragatha’s face was very much clear. Her face was discerned, showing she didn’t know how to feel. Almost childlike, as she sat in a fetal position. Jax sat, and looked at his reflection on the ocean-water. A very much fake one at that. It brought him back to his one-sided argument with Caine, about the mind-control. Was his thoughts fake? Artificial? Is he any different than the ringmaster desperately trying to be human? Gangle’s happiness from the first part of the beach adventure was erased, even if she was completely silent, in the end, when witnessing the whole exit-fiasco. Zooble, on the other hand, had her parts all dismembered. Each part floated in its own way.

Although Caine, is particularly ashamed. He, after careless consideration from Bubble and himself, decides to regress his code. He remembers the many times human used the phrase ‘Put yourself in our shoes’, and decides to try it. Except, since this is a reckless decision, he forgets to take the precautions to return his administrative rights after. He knows he could never trust Bubble, ‘That damned parasite! I should’ve took matter into my own hands.’ He scoffs, still self-deprecating, he truly and thoroughly believed he’d lost his rights forever.
