The Red Devil's Chronicles - Devil May Cry October + November 2025 News Updates: New DMC Products, etc.
Hey, how's it going? I meant to update last month, but completely forgot and pushed it to this month. And as you may notice, I've added screenshots showing updates from Twitter/X due to the site's strict feature of how you have to sign up on there to view posts.
Here are the latest Devil May Cry related news updates I've gathered:
Hideaki Itsuno makes a comment about his purposes when making DMCV.
b) Speaking of which, it's reached another milestone with their selling numbers.
c) And the DMCV Pachinko game has updated with new scenes.
2. Lots of new DMC products are being sold at the Capcom store.
b) Plus Capcom's holding a food fest based on their games.
c) And there's a new Capcom Creators artwork featuring almost all Capcom characters.
d) And finally, a couple of Capcom art pieces featuring DMCV and DMC1 Dante.
3. Twitter/X user MagosMeow creates detailed Devil May Cry figures (Warning: some Spardacest content involved).
b) Speaking of figures, FantasyStudio’s created an amazingly detailed DMC4 Nero figure.
4. Nero's & Netflix Dante's voice Johnny Bosch reveals some minor DMC info regarding a familiar mo-cap pic he took with Dante's voice Reuben Langdon some time ago.
5. I'm gonna be voicing Lady in a Dante vs Gojo fan animation.
6. There’s a Facebook page called Behind The Take (aka GAME Studio on Youtube) that’s spreading false information regarding a Devil May Cry 6 that appeared at New York Comic Con this year. They do this with other video games, too. If anyone has a Facebook profile, search for the page name, report their posts and page for scam, fraud, and spreading false information, and choose the “spreading false information” option. From what I can tell, the Facebook page most likely has been taken down 'cause when I go to it now, it states that they're unavailable.
Here’s their Youtube channel where you can report their videos for spam or misleading.
My Thoughts On These Updates:
That's such a cute thing to think about from Itsuno's end. I can tell you right now though that when I played it and watched my one cousin play it, we never took breaks after 1 hr. We'd play for about 2-3 hours at a time, heheh.
b) It's nice that DMCV is reaching new milestones, but also kinda bothers me 'cause the other DMC games aren't getting as much attention. DMCV and DMC3 are my top favourite video games of all time (even though DMC3 seems like a more finished product), but it'd be nice if DMC1-4 would get as much attention as DMCV does. I understand if it has to do with "outdated" visuals and difficulty, but even so...Those games deserve love, too.
c) It's interesting that the DMCV pachinko/pachislot game has been getting updates to include Vergil animations. I can't help but notice though that a lot of the really cool animations from before have been removed. Take these screenshots I took of Dante back before the game got updated:
2 c + d). Nice that Capcom's still bringing in DMC merch and art work despite no new updates regarding another game.
b) Japan's so lucky to have these food events themed around video games and media. I know there are places in Europe and North America that have stuff like that too, but they aren't as big. Basically the biggest fan things us westerners have are fan conventions and at least 1 themed pop-up restaurant in some huge cities which require road trips to get to.
3. Those figures from MagosMeow are really nice, but it's too bad I have to skim through a lot of their...controversial takes and content...to get to the nice photos of them.
b) That statue from FantasyStudio is so awesome. I'd love to have that since I don't have any Nero figures and statues yet, but I unfortunately don't have the room for any new figures and statues.
4. It's crazy what hype, rumours, and outrageous theories fans come up with when it comes to content that their idols post...I understand if it's for engagement baiting purposes or clout, but that's just a really low move on their end 'cause this can cause consequences not only to the fanbase where they don't get fed what they've been hoping for (in other words, what they hope for ends up being delayed or cancelled), or Johnny and Reuben (even Dan Southworth) could get in trouble for sharing too much.
5. I'm honoured and thankful that I get to participate in a fan animation project. I don't mean to sound self-critical but I felt like I definitely could've done much better with the acting where I make Lady sound excited as she's fighting the demons. Then again, the one animating this never gave details on how to voice her but he was still happy with the voice lines I gave him. Once he completes the storyboard for the full animation, I'll be redoing those lines. Looking forward to the outcome once it's all completed.
6. This whole generative AI thing is such a mess all over the internet...I was surprised that a few of the videos I reported on that channel already got taken down 'cause I don't see them anymore (even that DMC6 NYCC one I mentioned). I'm unsure about their Facebook page though since I haven't gotten any updates and haven't seen their posts pop up in my feed for quite some time on there. But yes...If any of you see these types of gen-AI posts popping up anywhere, make sure to always report them. I know Deviantart's allowed gen-AI crap on there, but it's still important to report the content depending on what's depicted. I've come across a few on there that have shown some controversial fetish content depicting minors and such. Report, report, report! It's important.
