The Red Devil's Chronicles - April And May 2026 Devil May Cry News Updates: Collabs, Fan Content, Etc.

Hey, how’s it going? If you’re wondering, yes. I’ve seen Season 2 of the Netflix series, but have yet to make my full review (which will take a long while due to how busy things have gotten for me, and how much longer this one is compared to Season 1). Anyway, here are the latest Devil May Cry news updates I’ve gathered:

1. A Devil May Cry clone game called Gate Breaker Ascension is being made.

2. Adi Shankar’s selling a random Rebellion model for a million dollars on his official website.

3. Peak of Combat has updated lots.

4. New promotional Capcom volleyball artwork, featuring DMC1 Dante. b) With Dante posing fashion model style.

5. DMC1 remake rumours spreading again.

6. DMCV reaches another milestone.

7. Content creator Kamil Olczyk does a Polish cover of Bury The Light.

My Thoughts On These Updates: 1. It’s fascinating how in this day and age, people have access to these different gaming engines that can make their dreams a reality. I’ve had a video game idea for many years now, but have yet to get started on it and don’t have the time, knowledge, and attention span to do so. Off topic, it was gonna be based on a story of mine called Dark Conscience, and I planned to either use RPG Maker or Playstation Dreams to make it. Gameplay would involve puzzles, story path choices, secrets (aka easter eggs), and minimal combat.

2. WTF Is this tool doing? From what I’ve seen from people’s reposts about it on Twitter/X, apparently it was a pre-rendered model from someone else, so he’s technically stealing. Another bad move on that guy’s end.

3. Didn’t think this game was going to get anymore updates with the lack of players and all. It’s really neat what content Peak of Combat has, but it’s an extremely wasted potential and scam of a game.

4. What I’ve noticed, and from what a lot of fans notice with the promotional works Capcom does with Dante, they tend to use his DMC1 version more than the other versions of him for their advertising despite DMC3 and DMCV being their most popular ones.

5. DMC1 was the 1st I’ve played in the series, and comes in 2nd place for being my top favourite Devil May Cry game (DMC3 and DMCV are tied as my #1 fave despite DMC3 being a more finished game). If DMC1 ever gets a remake, it makes me wonder how it will play out and what new things will be added. I’m hoping they retain the dark, Gothic horror elements.

6. It’s amazing how far DMCV has come with its popularity and sales. Here’s just hoping that if this continues that another Devil May Cry game will soon be made rather than later.

7. Kamil did a pretty good job. It’s not every day you see popular video game songs with lyrics getting an international language treatment. It’s really neat.

Got inspired to doodle and made some freaky TF faces. Started as just 2 of them, then combined them in a couple ways. Always had a fascination with body horror ever since transformation became a fixation of mine, and I like to experiment at times whenever I draw any. The anti-AI watermark came from MLucentArt on Twitter/X who unfortunately no longer exists on there, so unsure where they can be found now. Done on Sai with an Intuos Medium Pro tablet.

Illustrations for EpicCity1's (on Fur Affinity) story, featuring their OC Jasper becoming her werebeast form. Was a pretty fun one to work with since it gave me a challenge of adding minimal backgrounds, and working with different body shapes and poses. Unfortunately I had to cheat with the brick wall texture, which came from here. Also if you're wondering why the 4th image looks off, it's 'cause the character's transformation evolves where she begins to lose all her hair and fur, and the scar where she got bit becomes more prominent. Done on Sai with an Intuos Medium Pro tablet.

Going clothes shopping with my bf the day after these pics were taken, and figured I'd show how much weight I've lost in the past 9-10 months before I send some of my clothes away. How did I lose the weight you ask? By cutting lots of sugar outta my daily consumption habits, and taking ADHD meds. I know I look grumpy in these photos but I assure you that nothing was bothering me at all, and I always look like that, lol.

Should've taken before images but never thought about it until I already lost a lot of weight. However, I went through one of my albums on Facebook and managed to find probably the closest before and after weight loss images of me.

These images are a whole year apart from each other with the left one from 2024, and the right one from 2025. You can see the differences on my face and neck width, belt on the mid section, legs, and one arm. Would've lost 15-20 pounds in these 2 images, and ended up losing an extra 10-15 more leading up to March or April of 2026.

The Red Devil's Chronicles: February & March 2026 Devil May Cry News Updates - Rumours, NFS2, Figures, Etc.

Hey, how goes it? I can assure you that these latest Devil May Cry news updates aren't April Fools jokes, so here they are:

A Devil May Cry voice actor interview from...August of last year?

2. An industry called Tanuki Figures creates a highly detailed DMC3 Dante figure. b) And another one called X-SOLO Studio makes one as well.

3. Studio Mir shows off their Devil May Cry 3 fan art to promote the upcoming release of Season 2.

b) Speaking of which, there’s a clip of Dante with his trademark pistols released. c) And a new teaser trailer. d) And they show off more promo images of Dante and Vergil.

4. Content creator BossLogic shows off what's possibly fan art they've created that dedicates Devil May Cry's 26th anniversary, and some DMC6 images:

This caused Nero's/Dante's voice actor Johnny Bosch to repost the images, and at one point while doing this changed his profile pic to DMC4 Nero on Instagram:

5. Devil May Cry V's coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 as a new edition.

My Thoughts On These Updates:

I vaguely remember sharing an update about this last year regarding the VA interview, but don't think I shared the full thing. Just the announcement of it. Would've looked back at the older entries to see if I did but, ah...Here it is anyway in case I didn't.

2. I've said many times any time I see a cool new Devil May Cry figure...I have the money, but not the room to obtain them. If I was to get my own place, I'll need a whole room dedicated to all these cool figures I wanna get.

3. Now...I tend to be an open-minded, on-the-fence-type individual, and like to give things chances but...the Devil May Cry purist in me's surfacing more with the stuff they're showing off for this new season. Hate to be critical and pessimistic about this, but there are things wrong happening here already regarding the Nell scene, the Tony Redgrave alias thing, the copy-paste of a movie scene, the not-so-chronological DMCV quote Vergil makes (if you get what I mean), Vergil's accent change, etc. I'm still curious on how this season's gonna go and will still watch it but from what I'm witnessing and feeling about it, it ain't good so far.

4. An unrelated note but what's cool is that not long after Boss Logic's and Johnny Bosch's activities there, there's a Swedish band I like called Sabaton that released a new song called Yamato. The song has nothing to do with Devil May Cry, but I just found it as a cool coincidence 'cause of the name.

5. Rumours say that Ladies Night will most likely be one of the new features added in this version of DMCV. We'll have to see what they cook up once it releases on that console worldwide.

Either people are this sensitive on Bluesky, or their AI's moderation's trippin' 'cause I gave my big, bad, beastly self human caucasian-coloured skin... Context: My latest WIP image I shared on Bluesky instantly got labeled as 'adult content' containing 'explicit s*xual content'...It isn't supposed to be s*xual! -_- Figured I'd share the link to the post on here in case the same thing happens as whatever what went on there...This is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened on there when sharing my art. Something tells me that if I report the problem to the mods on there, they aren't gonna fix it 'cause of how I made my beast form :/...There aren't even any nips and hoo-hoo showing! I purposely made it like that 'cause I mainly like to keep my content PG-13.

@changes Tumblr. Get rid of the whole "reblog chains get their own notes" thing. This is TERRIBLE for artists, and anyone who wants to keep track of reblogs/likes/comments.

I don't know why you're even breaking something that works fine? Could you PLEASE put that effort to better use for features users actually want? Here's a couple to get you started:

- A mute option for users (not just block)

- Option to completely hide blacklisted posts (no "this post contains XYZ you've blacklisted", just don't show anything)

- A functioning search bar for our individual blogs

- Organizable portfolio pages for artists, if you're feeling frisky

Tumblr, you've got a good thing going for you. Give us a functioning website, ditch the bigotry (we see you bullying trans users and sex workers), and you've got a fully untapped market of users who are happy to give you money for optional premium services. Look at how happy users were to give Discord money back when they were an actually ethical company. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok have all gone to shit--this is prime opportunity to dominate a market that's STARVING for good social media.

Just listen to us and deliver what we want. It's that easy.

Hey, how's it going? Happy New Year! Here are the latest Devil May Cry news updates:

1. Future Devil May Cry plans from Capcom.

3. Evanescence rocks the stage at The Game Awards with their Afterlife song. b) And a release date for Season 2 of the Netflix series is confirmed.

c) And the animation studio behind the series, Studio Mir, created a Christmas image of Dante and Vergil.

4. A spray painted DMC3 Dante's featured on a building that this person sees while riding a bus.

5. New Dante and Nero figures from BroToys.

b) Speaking of figures, Prime1 Studio's come out with bonus versions of their DMCV Dante and Vergil Jackpot figures.

6. Devil May Cry 6 rumours are spreading once again.

7. Content creator Dreaded Wolf tests out various types of fictional weapons, including Dante’s Rebellion.

My Thoughts On These Updates: 1. Really curious what Capcom has planned for Devil May Cry now that Hideaki Itsuno's not the one directing this time.

2. I'm honoured to voice as Lady in this parody, which pokes fun at the Netflix series with its flaws.

3. Amy Lee did a great job on her performance. I was expecting another trailer to air, but at least we've got a release date. Season 1 left both a bitter and sweet taste in my mouth, but a bit more on the...tangy or sour side, if you know what I mean. Hoping Season 2 improves. I'm curious of how much better or worse it will be. I like that piece Studio Mir did.

4. It's amazing what graffiti you can find in random places. I remember coming across a Breaking Bad one in a town I used to live in.

5. It's awesome how more Devil May Cry character figures are being made, but...No offense to BroToys...The faces on those figures aren't very pretty. The Prime1 Studio figures though, they're still amazing. Even though those figures are smaller and cheaper than the previous statues they've made, I still don't have any room for them.

6. Once again, we've got more DMC6 rumours spreading...And this time from a specific page with no source(s) to back up their claims, and the use of cheap AI slop promoting said claims...I believe DMC6 will eventually happen since we've got that update from Capcom about wanting to make more Devil May Cry games, but I'd rather wait and see instead of getting too excited about non-confirmed rumours.

7. I like when content creators test out logical stuff from fictional universes. Sure, it can ruin our expectations and how we view these characters using certain items and such, but at least it's educational.

8. It's crazy how Devil May Cry collabs are still happening to this day. Shows how popular this series has gotten over the years. Speaking of collabs, it seems the Fortnite rumours are spreading once again. Only one way to find out, though. Makes you wonder what other collabs there will be in the future.
