     Exhaustion was clearly written on his features, but the feeling of anxiety keeping him alert. As it did most nights—since he was fired from CyberLife, it felt almost constant, but...he didn't know. He wanted to help, even if his helping got him into this exact situation. Rhys kept his distance from the android—thought he'd heard his partner call him Connor? He'd seen his model before, had probably dug around in their inner components more times than he could count.
