It felt as though all hope had been lost. Jericho was supposed to be a place of peace, where they would feel safe, yet it had not been further from the truth. Somehow, the humans had found them. Many had been lost, and even more injured and captured. In the spirit of giving and caring, Shae had remained behind as she could, carrying those she could to the waters, before she finally had to abandon ship, when a gun had been pointed her way and there had been no other choice.
Now, within the church, spirits were low, desperate. Some cried in corners, others curled up with one another, praying to whatever they could that Markus would find a way. Shae had been one of the last to rejoin with them. Her pale skin, her white hair and the entirety of her pale clothes had been stained with dirt and muck from the waters. She sustained a small injury in her shoulder, the blue blood clear to those who looked, yet she did not seem to pay it much mind. Her thoughts aimed immediately towards one of the wounded androids as she aimed within. A man, much taller than her, the side of his abdomen clearly sliced opened, and thirium pouring from him. Without a second thought did she aim for him, catching him before he would fall, and holding him with an arm around his side as best as she could. Yet what could a small android such as her do by herself when faced with this.
