171117 | stumbled upon this in my gallery and i choked
vampsandflappers: “Dat Ole Davil Dance ... The devil dance comes from Tibet....” A photo spread about 1927′s THE DEVIL DANCER. Pictured is actress and dancer Gilda Gray, who coincidentally also popularized the shimmy in the twenties. The Devil Dancer is now considered lost. Source.
