Honestly all you need to know is he’s tragic as fuck and having a  b a d  time. A mix of Nadia and Julian’s original Reversed ends: - you killed the goat, but he takes it upon himself to take the Devil role. -but by being the Devil means he has to do actual Devil things-- making deals with people/beings. People who WANT/NEED things that require payment. And there’s no work around, by the nature of the deal. Always a high cost. -hates it, hates being the devil, hates meeting people at their most desperate and low.  -or having to make deals with the worst of the worst kind of people -the longer he waits to collect the more pain it causes him- but he’ll always opt for that. But by the nature of his role and realm... eventually he has to collect. So when you come along, oh BOY does that self-loathing turn to 11. It may even take multiple visits before he’s willing to talk to you. But don’t worry, he’s still overly dramatic and got his little stutter, but needs your confidence and you to reassure him he’s still Julian.

And those are my basic head canons! If you want something more specific, lemee know- but I’ve loved seeing what you guys do with this take!

I’ve been really enjoying the DevilJulian concepts going around. Though I personally lean less towards the interpretations where he acts like the Devil, and more the same bad ending, self-loathing Julian. So I leaned harder into ‘fallen angel’ type of devil.

Oh damn. Do you have any headcanons for a very dominant Devil!Julian? Bonus points if he collars the MC and makes them his pet 👀

as we have all agreed, becoming the devil turns julian’s cocky energy into straight up dominant (daddy??) energy

you ever seen that bath scene in game of thrones where viserys is listing the names of dragons while slowly fucking the girl in his lap? bc that is devil julians entire energy (just that scene not viserys’s actual character lol)

keeps you at his feet while he sits on the throne, will idly play with your hair when he’s bored

definitely calls you sweet/slightly possessive things like “pet” and “my love”

he loves to tease you in front of the entire court

will attach a thin gold chain to the collar around your neck and tug it tighter and tighter just to watch you squirm

sometimes he’ll let you join him on the throne, sitting astride in his lap (you better be ready to beg for it, though...)

on those very special days his hands roam your body, touching all your most sensitive places even while the court remains at work, just because he wants to see you blush

will have you fetch things for him and then refuse them when you return to rile you up

also! I just really love the image of him walking lazily down the stairs that lead to the throne, his gaze totally fixated on you, and yanking on the chain attached to your collar to tug you forward to your knees

but for all that, he’s still incredibly sweet and earnest

honestly he’s so in love with you that it consumes him, even when he’s domming what he really wants is just to please you

so he doesn’t care if you’re being bratty (he loves that you’re not afraid of him) or absolutely obedient (something in his chest tightens every time you comply with a quiet “yes, sir”) he just wants you
