Does anyone know what happened to devilcastlescans? Their tumblr has been deactivated. Their twitter is also gone and even their livejournal has been deleted. We just want to know if they are okay.

It made things seem more heartbreaking in a way considering all the emotional connotations that come with her box and what that must have been like for Reo to see Mabu as some sort of cyborg reincarnation. Such a nice unintentional boost to things

Awesome! Mori is one of my favorite bsd writers. I tore into Vita Sexualis & Dancing Girl looking for answers but mostly came away with "woow how he left her was so fucked up" lol.
Have you read The Wild Geese? It’s really so, so achingly beautiful. Mori is a hit or a miss for me. I felt lukewarm about Vita Sexualis. But man, when he’s at his best, the prose is downright stunning. (I should say that I’m reading translations, BTW, so I don’t know if it’s as beautiful in Japanese. I imagine so, though.)

He was a touch creepier with droopy eyes. I think they were super cute.
yeah!! he was a bit! it fits his aesthetic a little better i think, though it probably wasn't intentional on yana's behalf :'D (still so adorable though)

I really like the characters and their world but agree it falls flat. Like so much feels like filler and the current pacing makes it seem like a 24 episode show. I just want it to be better so much lol!
A lot of these supernatural and novel adaptation shows kind of do this where they know they’ve only got lik 12 episodes so they assume we’ve all seen the source material and just phone it in. It’s a real shame. I wish they’d just do an anime only thing so the story would be paced properly.
Like I think it started out well enough. If they’d kept going with monster of the week and then tried to develop Arata and Kohaku’s cohabitation whatever between them and then did Azazel at the end, leaving us on a note of how dangerous Kohaku is but how he and Arata have formed some kind of bond, it would have worked so much better than what we’ve been getting and just cut out the whatever we’re up to now because it seems like a second season crammed into three episodes or something.
They also could have started out implying Seo and Kyouichi are living together rather than kind of hopped from flirty coworkers to maybe dating to oh hey Seo’s randomly stuck at the office all night while Kyouichi’s sister is adjusting to things. Although the wya they hop about wtih them at least lends a sense of significant time passing though I’m not sure that’s the intent

Hey, I expect controversial responses when I bring up discussions like this lol But yeah, the only thing I personally don’t like about Blackbeard is that he’s a little too cartoony personality wise for my taste, however it is interesting to see just what he can do

ohh, good point tbh.
I mean I guess it’s not at a point where they’d wanna give up on their top skater yet BUT on the other hand, my friend who’s really into pro skater Johnny Weir once told me that he had to go to America because Russia couldn’t cope with him being openly gay and don’t nail me down on this because I didn’t look into it but I guess he didn’t really have a choice but to leave the country behind.
