The story begins with Satan instructing Mammon to finish the workbooks his teachers have assigned to him- if he doesn’t want to repeat the year. At first Mammon protests, saying it’s impossible for him to be lowest rung on the ladder out of their brothers and claims that Levi must be doing worse than he is. Satan quickly corrects him by informing Mammon that Levi has been taking online courses instead of going in person. He begrudgingly begins to work on his assignments.
In the next scene, Satan is thanking the MC for coming along, explaining that with them there, Mammon would be encouraged to focus more. Though, as soon as he walks over, he notices illegible calculations he refers to as, “random scribble.” Mammon is quick to correct him and explains that it’s his calculations for how much money he will receive from his recent modelling job, and how he will spend that money. He begins a lecture to the MC and Satan about the technicalities of his job and how that affects his pay.
Mammon recites out his math in impressive detail, revealing how his finances function every month. He lists everything from his taxes, to loans, and even his deal with the witches. This leads to the conclusion that Mammon will be 300,000 Grimm in the red, or 363,890 to be exact. He quickly adds that if the magazines sell out, he’ll get enough cash to get out of the red with a little extra. That is, assuming the magazines sell out. This makes Satan angry and he begins accusing Mammon of thinking the world revolves around him, and that he should be studying instead.
Mammon complains about how the numbers are long and that makes him immediately uninterested. Satan suggests Mammon adds the word “Grimm” to the end of each number, intending for it to be a joke. However, to his surprise, it works great for his brother. It jumps to when Mammon is almost finished with all three workbooks, only having one page left. Though, instead of finishing, he gives up. Satan is shocked and asks him why, and his brother begins to explain the advantages of being a student model rather than a regular model. if he’s running late, he can just say his classes ran long and no one will scold him. Suddenly, Mammon gets a phone call and heads off to another shoot. Now at the end, Satan accepts that Mammon’s way of thinking can’t and won’t be changed so easily.
