THIS SCENE HAD ME FEELING THINGS BECAUSE YOU SEE THAT GREED WAS BASICALLY TRYING TO STAY SO HE DIDN'T LEAVE THE OTHERS BEHIND AND DOL SCREAMED THAT IT WAS THEIR PROBLEM NOW AND HAD TO YELL AT HIM TO GET HIM TO LEAVE IM NOT OKAY GUYS

Dolcetto appreciation post

Friendly reminder that Greed may have been the one that named the Chimeras, given that Dolcetto, Roa, and Martel are all named after very fancy liquor.

Dolcetto is named after wine. This said wine is a red wine that means "little sweet one" the Wine itself is dry however, with very little if no sweetness at all.

Roa, named after Roa Ae (i think? Thats the closest result) is a Mai Tai cocktail that has flavors of Apricot, citrus, and pineapple

Martel, Named after Martell Cognac Is a sweet cognac with fruity and somewhat spicy notes.

Bido, though not named after an alcohol, can have many meanings behind his name. The Nepali use the word to represent a strap holding a sword to it's sheath. It can also mean something small like a small Bead.

I kinda like to think Greed not only named them because he was running the Devil's Nest at the time. But also cause he finds each one of them to be unique and personal to him and him alone, so choosing rather fine liquor brands or cocktails was his way of showing gratitude. And with Bido, while unable to think of a drink name for him, still gave him a meaningful and important name in his eyes.

It was fun though. I finally drew Greed with his crew.

Highly tempted to draw him with the other chimeras which is like *counts them* 8 including Greed’s friends and the honorary adoptive dads of Ed (and in this case Ling) and Al’s buddies

Mild “spoilers” for my story but yeah Greed’s friends survive but they’re not unscathed (aside from Bido if anything he’s just got trauma)
