WOD 1 - 15 min AMRAP
10 Devils press (15′s)
10 Pistol squats
10 Tuck ups
30 Double unders
Then straight into..
WOD 2 - 5 min cap
Max reps bike cals
Completed:
W1 - 4 Rounds
W2 - 45 cals
Was aiming to finish 3 rounds in W1, so was stoked to hit the fourth! Just under 4 minutes per round. Went to grab the DB’s to try get one devils press rep in with about 7 secs left in the AMRAP, but only managed to do the burpee and get on my feet before time was up lol. The devils press was by far the hardest movement and 10 reps seemed to take forever.
Pistol squats got better and faster as the rounds went on. In the last 2 rounds, I didn’t have to hold my non-working foot with reps to balance myself #winning
Tuck ups were fine too, though I couldn’t even do any rounds with unbroken reps. Before starting I thought these would be easy lol. Double unders were good, it was just the first round where I broke up the reps and only ‘cos I tripped over the damn rope.
With wod 2 - I didn’t get on the bike until about 15 secs had passed from being so fatigued from the AMRAP. The first 2 minutes or so I was trying to pick up speed as much as I could while still trying to recover. The last 3 minutes went by quickly. Was hoping to get 50 cals in, but happy with what I ended up with in the end.
