Who are some of your favorite AT fanartists?

Odd enough, I don't follow that many AT artists, I just get my dose of new fanart circulating about by the people I follow.

So in effect, I like certain artworks than certain artists. Given that I probably like a certain artist's works more than others, the "Likes" occur too far apart for me to notice the pattern. So instead of that, I'll just mention some of my friends who do AT art and why I like them so much.

Of course, when I name people, I like giving them fancy titles :)

1) Kit, the Fiery Therian and the Queen of Bonfire

Color bomb. That's the most efficient way I can describe Kit's art. Bright, strong colors with a certain glow to it, you can tell she pushes herself to do better in every new artwork. It's the kind of style you'd associate with morning and breakfast. Good stuff. 

2) Teddy, the God of Finnceline and Darren, the Lightning Newcomer

Darren may be new to the scene, but he's swept up well-deserved praise for his wonderful AUs and understated coloring. And somehow, I can't refer to Darren without talking about Teddy. The two seem to compliment each other well, in personality and art style, like Ice Cream and French Fries (Yes, I happen to like my Ice Cream with French Fries).

As everybody knows, Teddy makes some wonderfully warm art and interesting AUs. Warm in the sense that the comic stories he tells are cute, funny and moving, like Hot Chocolate with Churros.

3) Lizzie, The Queen of Winter and Changing Seasons

This Petribabe has some smooth lines, as in smooth enough for a cube to roll through. And I'm amazed by the sheer cleanliness of said lines. The lines contribute to a solid lineart which results in a solid, well composed work... usually of Simon and his handsomeness, but she does other characters as well. :)

4) A Bed Full of Rabbits (I forgot your name sorry!), The Autumn Rabbit Heart

Whereas Teddy's comics exude narrative warmth, this artist's stylistic choices exude color warmth. A lot of her color choices lean toward warm colors and as such, a look at her works resembles an autumn walk through a forest. And just like a forest, there are no true straight lines to be found in her subjects, which is very intriguing.

5) Johnny, Starmetal Exalted and Admiral of Fubblegum 

Writer/ Artist. He shines the most with his Adventure Time fics, resonating with humor and utter weirdness with a touch of humanity. Carrying the banner of Fubblegum, he's a solemn reminder that a ship need not be canon for you to enjoy it. A fic from Johnny is a delight and time well spent reading.
