Dewey Week, Day 7: Anything you want!
Yeah, I went down that road! That latest episode, and that song really got me, and I thought this was a perfect moment to draw this! And as we all know, Dewey would be most likely out of the three to have a closer relationship with his mom (not that Huey and Louie wouldn’t. Dewey’s would just be closer). Anyone else looking forward to Della coming back home? I sure am!

"Come on, Dewey! You got to stop that," said a very annoyed Huey.
"My hair has to be perfect!" Dewey said, pushing his hair back or what he calls it, "zooshing."
"Oh my god, Dewey, your hair is fine. Now can we please go?" Louie said, not even looking up from his phone.
"Ugh, you guys don't get it! It has to be perfect. My beautiful face is finally going to be on TV."
"Well, it's not the first time," Huey said, looking in the mirror, trying to fix his bow tie. "Also, I don't think that people are going to care about your hair."
"Well, you're wrong Huebert. When people see my fantastic hair, they are going to love it!" While Dewey said that, he looked in the mirror and hair Zooshed again.
Louie facepalmed.
The door then slammed open and in popped a very excited Webby.
"AHH" Louie yelled as he fell off the bed. "Ugh, I should be used to that by now."
"Webby!" Dewey said, taking her by the hand and dragging her to the mirror that was in the triplets shard bedroom. "How's my hair?"
Webby looked at Dewey's for a second and replied with an "Its awesome."
"Thank you," Dewey said with a smile. But even after that, Dewey zooshed again. Webby looked confused. She then proceeded to look at Huey for an answer.
"Dewey has been fussing over his hair for the past 40 minutes, and we can't get him to stop. He calls it hair zooshing."
"Yea, it's pretty annoying" Louie added in. "And honestly, every time he does it, his hair just gets worse."
Webby makes an O shape with her mouth.
"I DID IT!" Dewey yelled. "IT'S PERFECT! Duckburg, get ready for Dewey Duck, grand adventure!"

I don’t know anything! And it’s really frustrating!
We can’t tell anyone about this until we find out what it means..
The truth about my mom.
I don’t care! My mom was a hero!

You know Della? Where is she?! Please tell me she wasn’t an evil family betrayer and Spear stealer!
No! The Spear of Selene! The one my mom took! The one that’s the only clue to finding her!
So we’re back to she stole the Spear and betrayed the family then.. Great.
I’m trying to protect my brothers from finding out something that could upset them.
Because it belongs to mom!

In this family, no one is ever alone or left behind. And even though he’s the middle child and sometimes slips into the background, it’s a factor Dewey grew to learn and understand. His family has him just as much as he has them. Family always helps family.

Thank you all for making this week one of the funnest ones yet and expressing my love for Dewey in so many ways. I’ve grown to appreciate him more and more throughout the shows run, and understand his character and arc. Because of this, my love for him as grown and has made me have this emotional connection to whatever it is he goes through, and officially adopting (lmao I love saying that) him as my son.
